I provide individualized one on one strength training, cardiovascular guidance, nutritional programs, guidance, and education, as well as general life and health coaching to clients in a private and confidential studio.

 

As an Internationally Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association, I am highly trained in the areas of metabolism, muscle anatomy, strength and cardiovascular training, flexibility, body composition, program development, fitness assessment, muscle gain, fat loss, nutrition, supplementation, exercise in youth and older adults, and exercise in individuals with injuries or disease. 

 

As a Certified Health Coach, I am highly trained in the areas of physical health, physical fitness, disease management, weight management, emotional health and wellbeing, client education and guidance, program development and program practice, providing support and encouragement, referring clients to alternative professionals, calorie balance, macronutrients, meal timing, diet assessments, aerobic training, cardio training, strength training, flexibility training, stress management techniques, solutions to negataive thinking, balanced living techniques, goal setting, building personal support systems, sleep needs, nutritional needs, and the importance of relaxation.

 

As a Certified Sports Nutritionist, I am highly trained in nutritional concepts, carbohydrates in regards to endurance and recovery, the Glycemic Index, protein needs, protein intake for strength and gaining mass, calorie necessities for athletes, energy requirements, hydration requirements, electrolyte utilization for athletes, vitamins, antioxidants, free radicals, protein alternatives for vegetarians, performance enhancing substances, the effects of alcohol on athletes, assessment of clients, understanding clients as individuals, nutrition intake needs, caloric intake for weight loss, metabolic rates in regards to weight loss, the zig zag method to weight loss, meal preparation and planning, body mass index, low fat diets, simple and complex carbohydrates in regard to weight loss, the food pyramid guide, exercise for weight loss, protein intake in regards  to weight loss, and logging food intake for weight loss purposes.

 

As a Certified Life Coach, I have the ability to assist clients in identifying and realizing their goals, dreams, and aspirations by assisting them in becoming more self aware and by developing their talents and potential.  The tools that I am trained to utilize in order to assist, guide, and educate clients are affirmations, anger management, identifying false beliefs, identifying and overcoming fear of failure, stress minimization and stress management, utilizing the inner child tool, meditation and physical relaxation techniques, positive thinking, social skills for relationship tools, the life career rainbow tool, the life wheel tool, and hostility logging.   

 

If you are serious about improving your overall lifestyle and are looking for a hands-on mentor that will walk your journey with you every step of the way, I am the trainer for you!  My training sessions are focused primarily on strength training, an extremely effective method for weight loss.  However, my services are by no means limited to this type of training.  I also assist in the utilization and development of nutritional and cardiovascular knowledge, which is necessary to attain and maintain lifelong wellness.  I assist my clients in stretching to avoid injury as well as help them increase their flexibility and balance and improve their posture, all to avoid future injuries.  Although I do not directly practice life coaching with clients, they often become useful during the inevitable emotional ups and downs that individuals experience during intense lifestyle changes.

 

Every program is developed to meet the needs and of goals of each client; no two clients are the same and each client deserves their own specialized program.  All fitness activities are logged and measurements and photos are taken on a monthly basis in order to document and assess progress.  This has proven to be a highly effective motivational technique.  I also perform regular motivation level checks on clients in order to encourage them during this drastic change in their lifestyle. 

 

Fitness and health are my true passion and it is evident in my work with each and every client.  I am trained, knowledgeable, and experienced in training individuals of all ages, genders, and fitness levels.  I train clients ranging from obese to clients who are preparing for sporting events or special occasions.  However, my primary goal and calling is to ingrain a lifelong healthy, active, and natural lifestyle in each clients that I have the pleasure of working with.  The majority of clients who invest in my program stay with me at least until they have met their ultimate goal.  Many clients stay longer, as they see the importance of maintaing the structure that comes with my wellness program.
