During your initial appointment at Esteem, you will be interviewed, weighed, measured, and your current body fat will be assessed.  Your target heart rate will be measured for cardiovascular exercise. You will take a tour of the private studio and will conduct several basic exercises to assess your current strengths and needs, as well as to identify any risks or problem areas in regards to balance and flexibility.  We will then sit down to discuss your goals and expectations. Then, if you choose to do so, we will discuss payment, scheduling options, and the development of an individualized fitness and/or nutritional plan.  

Esteem Clients are checked on regularly, either through telephone calls, texts, or emails.  These check ups are designed to assess the client's progress outside of their Personal Training sessions, such as their cardio, nutrition, and motivation level.  Esteem will provide additional motivation if a client is in need of encouragement.  It is easy to become discouraged during a drastic lifestyle change.  We recognize this and attempt to make the transition as smooth as possible. 

Monthly progress photos and measurements are taken on a monthly basis.  It is important for both the client and the Personal Trainer to assess the client's progress regularly to determine if changes need to be made to their individualized training program.  This has also proven to be a very efficient tool to increase motivation for the client.

Nutritional Guidance and meal plan development is just as important, if not more important, than the time that you spend in the gym.  Individualized meal plans are provided to indiduals who are not participating in Esteem's Personal Training Program at $40.00, although this is not the recommended method for achieving total body health and wellness.  If you are an Esteem client receiving consistent Personal Training. a one time fee of $20.00 may be charged for your meal plan or it may be free of cost, depending on the circumstances.

Keeping your personal goals and current fitness level in mind, an individualized program will be developed specifically to meet your personal needs.  The client is always in control of their own training sessions and is encouraged to assist in altering their plan to better meet their preferences.  All sessions will be pre-individualized to meet the client's specific needs and goals.  Sessions run smoothly and efficiently with prior preparatioin.
